Our Work
Another project for the non-profit, Corporation for a Skilled Workforce (CSW), START Toolkit is an online blueprint to help businesses to develop regional, sector-based partnerships. Member organizations have access to a resource-rich, collaborative text. Users are connected to each other through their subscribing organization and can securely and privately comment on, bookmark, and share information within their member group. Along with developing the functionality for the website, we worked with CSW to design an easy-to-use interface for navigating the abundant information provided through START Toolkit.
Long Wing Education Consulting helps schools achieve success in all areas of education, from administration to student performance. Wanting to detail their approach to a large range educational challenges, the company chose a Drupal-based solution to organize and maintain hundreds of pages of content. To help their visitors navigate the vast amount of information, we developed a dynamicly-populated drop-down menu system. We also designed and imlpemented a custom theme including flyout menus and a rotating banner, as well as built out a multi-question job application system that provides an interface for Long Wing staff to sort and filter candidates by specific criteria.
WillWorkforFood.org needed a complete site re-architecture, re-design, and re-implementation in order to complete their mission of raising a million dollars for Darfur relief. Switchback was sub-contracted to rebuild the entire site with a Drupal CMS backend, including integration of organic community groups, and e-commerce functionality. The community groups features are active and working while we are currently implementing additional e-commerce features for the site. Anyone can now easily register, create work efforts, and begin raising money for the Darfur relief effort. Administrators can easily add new pages, as well as edit the content of any page on the website.
Galaxie Corporation needed to regularly update the inventory listed on its website, however the site was constructed in straight HTML, without a database. As a result, only one person in the office was able to make the changes, which were time-consuming and repetitive. Switchback was contracted to rebuild the entire site with a Drupal CMS backend, including integration of an inventory database. Now anyone in the company is able to quickly and easily update inventory, add news links, as well as edit the content of any page on the website.
LaRadeo is a web-based product that assists horse boarders with managing their farm. Weeks before the scheduled product launch, Equine Maintenance came to us looking for assistance in completing the development of the system. We worked very closely with the client to implement the last round of features, as well as quality test and debug the entire system. Since the successful launch of the product, Equine Management has plans for ongoing development and continued feature enhancements.
The Economic History Association (EHA) is a membership organization that fosters scholarly interest in the field of economic history. Members use the website to promote events and publications as well as provide information on the grants and fellowships awarded by the group. Wanting to take better advantage of their Drupal platform, EHA contracted us to upgrade and consolodate systems as well as create a web-based method for accepting and reviewing applications for grants and fellowships. EHA committee members can now review and rate applications through their website interface, streamlining the approval proccess. We also gave the new EHA website an updated look and feel with a custom theme.
