Michigan Web Development Company Adds Six Employees, Moves to New Office
Switchback grows to a staff of ten
Ann Arbor, Michigan, August 20, 2009 – Switchback, a web development firm specializing in content management systems (CMS), has recently added six full and part time positions to its payroll. The additions include industry specialists in the areas of software development, website design and project management.
Switchback has experienced continual growth since opening its doors in April of 2008. “We’ve noticed a steady trend of interest in CMS-driven websites. Probably because having the ability to maintain your own website saves a business a lot of money in the long run,” says co-founder Steve Colson. “As a result, we’ve had to beef up our staff to keep up with demand.”
Switchback’s new additions include Ken Rorick and Harry Pottash in development, Cathy Colson and Kendall Totten in design, and Sarah Allin and Marla Sokolowski in project management.
Recently, the company relocated to an expanded office suite at 300 N. 5th Street in downtown Ann Arbor, a hub for technology-focused companies. “We’re lucky to be in such a vibrant, innovative community. We are surrounded by local companies that are also experiencing growth—it’s good to be in such a positive environment,” says Colson.
To celebrate the new staff members and office location, Switchback has also launched a redesigned version of its company website at www.switchbackcms.com.
