One of the reasons we use an open-source content management system, like Drupal, to build all of our websites is that there is a large community of developers to call on for support. While the websites we develop come with a maintenance and support agreement, we wanted to share some of our favorite resources with you, should you be interested in learning more:
- Ann Arbor Drupal Users’ Group – Headed by our own Michael Hofmockel, the group is an invaluable local resource for Drupal questions and answers.
- Drupal Handbooks – Directly from the source, these online handbooks from Drupal.org cover everything from getting started to theming.
- Pro Drupal Development – Our favorite book for Drupal development. The second edition is available July 14, 2008 through Amazon.
Caravan is a powerful and full-featured membership management system, designed specifically for membership- driven organizations.
Trailhead is a Drupal-based system, built with the features smaller businesses need, bundled together into a ready-to-launch package.
